About us

fof.lol is a small collection of free tools. Each one does a single job, opens from a link and runs entirely in your browser.

Our tools

  • SmartBench checks a phone or tablet: display, touch, processor, graphics, speakers, sensors, battery, camera, microphone, GPS and NFC. Handy before buying a used phone or after a repair.
  • SpeedBench measures your internet connection: download, upload, ping, jitter and latency under load.
  • WhereBench shows where you are: GPS coordinates in several formats, the map and the address.
  • KeyBench tests keyboards, mice and gamepads: dead and stuck keys, double-clicks, polling rate and stick drift.
  • DropBench sends files straight from one device to another: peer-to-peer, encrypted, with no upload to a server and no size limit.
  • MeetBench checks your camera, microphone, headphones and network before a video call, in one pass.
  • PrivacyBench shows what any site sees about you: IP and provider, browser, screen, graphics card, how unique your browser is and whether WebRTC leaks your real IP.
  • PhotoBench shows and removes the hidden data in photos, such as the GPS location and the phone’s serial number, shows on the map where a photo was taken, and compresses and converts images to JPEG, WebP or AVIF, all without uploading them.
  • TypeBench measures how fast you type in English and Ukrainian (words and characters per minute, accuracy, the keys you miss most) and how quickly you react, and gives you a link to challenge friends on exactly the same text.
  • ToolBench turns your phone’s sensors into a bubble level, compass, protractor and sound meter, and shows sunrise, sunset, golden hour and the moon phase for any place.
  • QRBench creates QR codes for links, text, Wi-Fi and contacts with your colours and logo, checks that they scan, and scans and analyses any QR code with the camera or from a picture, without uploading anything.
  • PDFBench merges and splits PDF files, reorders, rotates and deletes pages, turns pages into JPG or PNG and pictures into PDF, and shows and removes hidden metadata. The files never leave your device.
  • PassBench creates strong passwords and passphrases, shows how long a password would take to crack and how to make it stronger, and checks whether it has leaked without ever sending the password.
  • TimeBench shows the exact time and how many milliseconds your phone or computer clock is ahead or behind, and has a stopwatch with laps and a countdown timer.
  • TuneBench tunes a guitar, bass, ukulele, violin and other string instruments through the microphone to the cent, with alternate tunings, a strobe mode, reference tones and a metronome. The sound never leaves your device.
  • DrawBench is a shared whiteboard: send a link and draw together in real time with a pencil, marker, shapes and text, see everyone’s cursor, and save the result as PNG or SVG. Nobody signs up, and the drawing goes straight between your browsers.
  • RandomBench does everything random: a coin, dice in tabletop notation, numbers and lottery lines, teams, a wheel of fortune, cards and more. A giveaway gets a fingerprint you publish in advance, so anyone can check from a link that the winners were not picked by hand.
  • ScanBench turns the phone camera into a document scanner: it finds the page edges, straightens and cleans up each page, saves a PDF and recognises Ukrainian and English text, all on your device.
  • TextBench counts characters, words and SMS parts, transliterates Ukrainian into Latin by the official passport rules, changes case, fixes quotes and dashes, previews Markdown and saves it as HTML or PDF, cleans up lines and compares two texts. The text never leaves your device.
  • PowerBench works out how long a power station, a UPS or a battery keeps your appliances on during a blackout, which size to buy, whether it recharges between outages, how many solar panels you need and what a generator costs, with every formula shown.
  • ColorBench is a workbench for designers: a color wheel with harmonies, a converter between every color format including OKLCH and Display P3, palettes from a generator or a photo, Tailwind-style shades, WCAG and APCA contrast, a color blindness simulator, gradients and an eyedropper for the screen, a picture or the camera.
  • DevBench holds developer tools that never upload what you paste: a JSON formatter and validator with exact error positions, YAML and CSV converters, Base64, URL encoding, MD5, SHA and CRC32 checksums for text and big files, a JWT decoder, UUID v4 and v7, Unix time and a regex tester. Nothing you paste leaves your browser.
  • MoneyBench works out a loan with the real annual rate that counts every fee, an early repayment, a deposit with tax, a savings goal, the official NBU exchange rate on any date, net and gross salary and sole-trader taxes. Every formula can be opened, and the tax rates come with their date and source. Rates are kept with their date, so it works offline too.
  • ScoreBench benchmarks a phone, tablet or computer in one tap: the processor on one core and on all cores, and the graphics through WebGL, with the same tests and points as SmartBench. Share the result by link so a friend can compare it with their own device, or save it as a picture.

How we build them

  • In the browser. Every tool is a plain web page. Nothing to install, and it works on phones, tablets and computers.
  • Your data stays yours. Tests run on your device. We keep no accounts and receive no uploads.
  • One job each. Every tool does one thing and ends with a clear result you can save or share.
  • Free and open. No payments and no sign-up. The code is released under the MIT License; the names, logos and images of fof.lol are all rights reserved.
  • In English and Ukrainian. Each language has its own address, and more can be added.
  • Works offline. Any tool can be installed as an app and opened without a connection, as far as its job allows.
