The black-and-white version from the blog comics. Model sheet:
Dragon fruit is pink on the outside and studded with tiny black seeds inside, which is more than most fruit offers a code designer. QRBench uses the seeds as the modules of the code: dark seeds are ink, the gaps are paper, and a scanner line runs across the middle to show that the code is being read.
It makes codes for links, Wi-Fi and contacts, in colours, with your logo in the centre and error correction chosen so the code still scans. You can save it as PNG or SVG, and it checks where a code leads before you print it. The scanner reads codes from the camera or from a picture. Nothing is uploaded.
In the comics it is the oddball of the back row: it peers forward with its mouth open, as if it has just found something on the bench. For its induction it was drawn mouth open with its eyes glancing to one side, mid-scan.
